The people behind the practice

Steady Bloom is a small, intentional practice built around genuine connection. Right now, Sam is the therapist seeing clients — supported by systems that keep the experience warm, organized, and focused on you.

Founder, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Sam is the founder of Steady Bloom and the therapist currently seeing clients. Before becoming a psychotherapist, Sam worked as a first responder and in the corporate world — experiences that shaped a deep understanding of pressure, burnout, and the gap between how life looks and how it feels.

Sam's work is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness-based approaches, and person-centred therapy. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Sam tailors therapy to each person's goals, strengths, and unique experiences.

At the heart of Steady Bloom is the belief that people are not broken — they are doing the best they can with the experiences and coping strategies they have. Therapy is a space to slow down, understand yourself more deeply, and build a life that feels more intentional and authentic.
